Design Apreciation

The first water bottle in the top is made of paper, although it is made of paper the water does not seep through. The way it opens and closes also fascinates me. It is an Eco-friendly product where it also has enough friction where when your hand is sweaty, you can still open the cap.

The second water bottle is one of the designs by Evian. Evian has many designs of water bottles, most of which are only good looking but not sustainable or are very hard to open. This water bottle is an example. Even when your hands are wet, it is very hard to pull the outer cap before being able to turn the inner cap to drink water.

The first chair is the chair I feel that is poorly designed as there is no cushion on it. As there is no cushion, sitting on that chair for very long is will be bad for your back and your backside would hurt. Although there is a compartment to put your stuff, it becomes a weird abnormal space where it would obstruct the position of your legs.

The second chair is a very innovative chair where you can stuck all you stuff like your hand phone or your books though the gaps. The designer also used cushions to make the consumers comfortable.

  1. I agree with the first and second water bottles. The first one is easy to use and it is also eco-friendly. The second bottle looks really interesting but the uses are not convenient and not easy to use although it looks nice.

  2. The bottles: I agree with you that they function well and are Eco-friendly, but the design can be improved such that it can grip better.

The bottles from evian: I agree with you that the bottle are designed uniquely but do not function well. When your hand is wet it is very hard to open the cap especially when your hand is wet.

  3. I agree that the first bottle is well designed as it is eco-friendly but how do you open the bottle and what if it rains and gets wet?
I also like the second chair as it is very creative but it may block people's way.
